Help your students decipher between fake news and real news with our special 4-week lesson series. This curriculum is designed to help you teach your students about media literacy.

 

 

National Mentoring Month. Mentors encourage students to reach their goals based on developing a vision for the future, as well as being a positive role model and source of inspiration for teens. View the Mentoring Course Student Supplement from The National Mentoring Partnership to teach students all about mentoring, how to find a mentor, develop a great relationship, ask good questions and open up with good dialogue, find activities to do with their mentor, and much more.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – January 20

Honor the life and teachings of Martin Luther King, Jr. by celebrating the 25th #MLKDay of Service. Find resources and lesson plans at MLKDay.gov and Youth Services America.

 

 

National Puzzle Day – January 29
